DESCRIPTION
Does your library want to engage your community in innovative and creative ways? Do you want to partner with community influencers and use them to reach new demographics? Do you want to highlight the technology available at your library?

Come join staff from Mesa County Libraries as they discuss their Studio Lounge project which intentionally highlights local bands each month through live recordings done at the library’s 970West Studio. They will demonstrate how to work with local artists to provide quality content, how to use collaboration to engage the community, and how to preserve living history through capturing local talent – sometimes to serendipitous results. By creating content with community influencers, the library is able to partner with different community organizations and spread its reaches beyond traditional library users.

If you ever wanted to have. framework to engage your community through the use of library technology and resources to foster creativity, this is the session for you!
